Privacy
Tupo collects as little as it can, and nothing it collects is shared or sold.

Playing without an account
You don’t need an account to play. If you never sign in, your progress, results, and settings are stored locally in your browser on your device and nowhere else. Clearing this site’s data removes all your game data.
With an account
When you sign in, Tupo automatically saves your existing local results to your account. Unfinished puzzles sync while you play, so you can resume on another device. Settings stay on your device. If you play the same puzzle on two devices, the most recently edited board is used; the boards are not combined.
Tupo does not receive or collect any information about you except your email address, and, if you sign in with Google, the name and profile photo URL on your Google account. We save the photo URL to show your avatar beside your email on the stats page. Your browser loads the photo from the image provider when it is displayed.
You can delete your account and all your data at any time from the Manage account controls on your stats page. This permanently removes your account and its data from the live database. Copies of progress and results already on your devices remain there; clearing this site’s data removes those local copies.
Analytics
Tupo counts all visits with Plausible, which uses no cookies and can’t identify you (which is why you don’t see a cookie banner on this site). Plausible records only anonymous analytics data, never anything personally identifiable.
Services that handle your data
The game is hosted on Netlify, the database runs on PocketHost, and sign-in emails are sent by Resend. Each service handles only what it needs to for that job. Nothing is shared unnecessarily or sold, and nothing is used for advertising.
